Delete your account

What deleting does
You can delete your Memoir account yourself at any time, from the app or from the web app, without asking us. Deletion is immediate and permanent: there is no waiting period and no undo.
What goes
- Your account: your name, your email address and the sign-in identity linked to it.
- Every album and draft, with the photos you added to them and the smaller copies we keep to show and print them.
- Every album link you shared. They stop working the moment the account is deleted.
- Your invite code, your arranging history and any discounts held on the account.
- If you use Memoir Family with the same account: you leave every family circle, circles that only you belonged to are removed with their photos, and what you posted in circles shared with others stays there without your name.
What stays
- Records of books you already ordered. They are financial and fulfilment records we are required to keep, so they survive with your name removed, and with your delivery address removed once the book has arrived. A book still in production is printed and shipped as ordered.
- Feedback you sent us through the app, kept without your name or email address.
Signing in again afterwards with the same sign-in provider creates a brand-new, empty account. Nothing from the deleted one comes back.
In the app, on iPhone or Android
- Open the Profile tab.
- Under "Account deletion", tap "Delete account".
- Read what gets deleted, then confirm with "Delete permanently".
You are signed out straight away and the account is gone.
In the web app
- Sign in at app.memoirprint.com and open Profile: the round button in the header, or the Profile tab on a phone.
- Under "Account deletion", choose "Delete account".
- Confirm with "Delete permanently".
You are signed out straight away and the account is gone.
If you can no longer sign in
Email contact@memoirprint.com from the address you signed up with and tell us which sign-in provider you used. We may ask you to confirm from that address before we go ahead, then we delete the account for you and let you know once it is done. The same address works for any other question about your data.
